There was a time when so many of the things we held in our hands said “Made in the USA”. I remember when production began to move overseas, and all the disputes over whether it was right or wrong. This sculpture shows a flag that is beaten up a little bit, but still holds its strength and pride. Personally, I like to see “Made in the USA” on things.
This wall-hanging sculpture incorporates transparent dyes, aluminum and steel. The flag itself is done in steel and offset by 1/2 inch spacers. Limited Edition # 2 of 40. Year completed: 2013.
